About me

Hello! I’m Wayne, and I’m interested in science, ideas and tech.

I’m done with secondary school and I’m waiting to start studying at Victoria Junior College. I intern at the Agency of Science, Technology and Research in the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering. My research is on 3D printing and polymer design, however, I also like to do other things on the side. Check out what I’m working on now.

I endeavour to be at the intersection of the arts and the sciences, even though that is not always possible. I’ll write about my views on social and political issues in what I hope comes across as rational and considered. Opinions here are purely mine, and do not reflect those of my employer or educational institution.

This blog has been online since 2012. Unsurprisingly, my priorities then and now are so different! To me, this blog is something like a poor memory that only works in hindsight. I don’t know what I’m going to post, and if I prefer my Github Pages site to the WordPress.com environment.

If you’re interested in anything you see on this website, feel free to contact me, I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Hi Wayne, you have a good way with words. I understand your dilemma, although it was many years ago for me. I ended up as a scientist, and still am, but I have let my creative side loose on the world. One of my readers gave me the nicest compliment the other day, he called me a new breed of artistic scientist! Perhaps you could be part of the new breed too!
