Haze and Ourselves

Hello dear readers, as of 1pm today, the 3-hour PSI level is at the all-time highest of 371. This is well into the ‘hazardous’ level. If you are outdoors you should be wearing a mask. Wait…you should not be outdoors at all. This applies especially to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children and those with respiratory and skin problems. The photo above shows how the haze affects our bodies, and lists some general precautions for dealing with haze.

If you don’t believe me, believe the infographic I got. Still don’t believe us? I recommend that you either keep your television on during the news, and follow the National Environmental Agency’s (NEA) or Channel News Asia’s Twitter feeds. Alright guys, the PSI is 371 now. Jokes aside, do drink more water and rest at home, if you really have to go out, do wear a mask. Take care! 🙂
